SOTELIA
Štajerska |
 |
Spa hotel in the far east of the country.
Perfect for families who want it all: parents can indulge themselves in treatments, massages, spa stuff, while kids get to splash around in the water park, jump around in the creche or lay around in the usual manner. |
ŠERUGA
Dolenjska |
 |
Tourist farm to the south east of Ljubljana.
A little idyll cosied up in the forested hills of Dolenjska. Pet-type animals abound (and bound, in the case of the wabbits), trout splish in the stream and the smell of home-baked bread gets right up your nose. Plenty to do in the vicinity too. |

House in the Kras region, just above Trst (Trieste).
Nine year old Klara has been learnin' her English and wants your kids to practice with. You get an apartment that sleeps 4 + 2, beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. It means 'Under the Chestnut Trees', by the way. |

Louise and Ian Samuel have made a lovely

CITY HOTEL
Ljubljana |

Bright, fun family-owned hotel, well used to dealing wih families, groups, kids, teenagers... as they say, children of all ages. |
GRAND
HOTEL UNION
Ljubljana |
 |
Old hotel in the centre.
The Executive half of the Union is
fine for families with children. |
Note that children
are welcome just about everywhere in Slovenia. All hotels
will usually be able to make extra beds available for
smaller children in your guest room, while discounts
are invariably available for children between the ages
of 2 and 16 (below two: usually free). The only exception
is Nebesa - but that's a very special case. Restaurants
are equally welcoming. |
